In the media and entertainment area Paresh represents some of the largest television programming distributors and networks in the U.S. on the drafting and negotiating of agreements relating to virtually every variety of video programming distribution including linear cable television carriage, retransmission consent, video-on-demand, pay-per-view and agreements for the distribution of television content over emerging distribution platforms such as TV Everywhere and similar authenticated broadband distribution methods. He also represents print publishers in content distribution matters, mobile marketing and counsels on the effective employment of technology.
On technology transactions, Paresh handles all forms of technology licensing, development, distribution and monetization transactions including outsourcing, enterprise resource planning, cloud computing and intellectual property transactions. Paresh also counsels clients on privacy and data protection matters and is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional.
In addition, Paresh represents sports properties and sponsors in the negotiation of sponsorship and endorsement agreements including naming rights agreements, founding sponsor agreements, in-arena/stadium advertising arrangements (including ambient media promotions), tournament title sponsor agreements and athlete endorsement agreements.
